I named this shoe after Maia .. the Greek Goddess who became the mother of Hermes. If you refer to your Greek Gods, Hermes has those amazing shoes that enables him to fly and deliver messeges from the Gods and what not. If he had those awesome sneakers, these shoes would be his Mothers. Nah, im just kidding... Maia was an old ex-girlfriend a long time ago.
